DAVENPORT-Patricia A. Johnson, 71, of Davenport, IA, passed away Wednesday (1/27) at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport. Cremation will be done with a private family service to be held. Online condolences may be shared at www.rungemortuary.com.

Pat was born August 28, 1949, in Aurora, IL, to Clarence & Alberta (Olson) Kastner. She was raised in Maquoketa and graduated from Maquoketa High School. On August 27, 1981, she met and married the love of her life, Richard Johnson in Tulsa, OK. Pat worked a short time as a cosmetologist, then spent 20 plus years with NW/SW Bell – ATT as a customer service rep. from which she retired. Following retirement, she went on to work as a medical transcriber.

Pat loved to read, do puzzles, sew, cook, & share recipes.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Johnson, Davenport; 3 step-sons, Richard (Candi) McMorran, TN, Lester (Sherri) MacGowan, TX, and Randy Hurt, Rock Island, IL; 3 grandchildren, Callie, Cara, & Crista; several step grandchildren; brother in law Carl (Diana) Johnson; Nieces Marcia (Russel) Marr, Baldwin, IA, Katherine Bresley & Kelley Conrad both of Davenport, IA; 2 great nieces & 1 great nephew.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Claudia Bresley; 3 brother-in-laws & 2 sister-in-laws.
