Leo D’Agostino, 87, of Barrington passed away peacefully on October 5, 2015. He was born on September 12, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Peter and Elvira (nee Donatucci) D’Agostino.

Leo was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army where he served 2 years in the Korean War. He was in the masonry business as a bricklayer for 40 years as well as a member of the Bricklayer Union. Leo went on to become a foreman for Vaci Construction. Leo was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Church and had a strong passion for golfing and fishing.

Leo will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Antionette (nee Loffredo) with whom he was united in marriage on February 14, 1953 in Chicago. In addition to his wife, Leo is survived by his children, Mike, Leo (Linda) D’Agostino, Doreen (Stephen) Sanford, Joyce (Dean) Kwiatkowski; grandchildren, Molly (Matt) Lippert, Josie, Pasquale and Michael D’Agostino, Stephen (Erin), Daniel (Kat) and Elizabeth Sanford; Joseph and Amanda D’Agostino and Robert Kwiatkowski; great-grandson, Reed Sanford; siblings, Ceil (the late Walter) Stawiarski and Anthony (Angie) D’Agostino; sister-in-law Lorraine D‘Agostino..

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John D?Agostino.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7 from 4 PM until 9 PM and resume on Thursday, from 9 AM until time of prayers at 9:45 AM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM at St. Francis de Sales, 33 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047.
