Linda Ann Grubb, 72, of Davenport, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at her home.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at McGinnis Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will take place at 10:00 a.m. until time of the services on Saturday at the funeral home. Social distancing measures are requested and face masks will be required. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Linda was born September 23, 1947 in Davenport, the daughter of Chester and Bessie (McDonald) Francis. She had been employed as a Registered Nurse. She had been with the former Moline Lutheran Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital and the Genesis Visiting Nurses Association. She later worked with John Deere and United Health Care.

She enjoyed gardening and quilting and the time spent with her family and friends.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter; Elizabeth Bakeris of Davenport; her son, Donald (Caryn) Wright II of Bettendorf; her grandsons, Michael (Jennifer) Wright, Race Bakeris and Samuel Wright; her great-grandchildren, Ivy, Jade and Rose; her niece, Michelle (Tom) Mullen; and her nephews, Gregory (Sandra) Francis and Shawn Francis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Carol Francis; her brothers, Chester Lee Francis Jr. and William Francis.
