When Mrs. John Kubis and family of Austria arrive in America there will be no father to meet them. Kubis, after sending a letter home enclosing money for the family’s passage, went to see the moving picture show at the Lyric in Davenport and fell from the balcony. He fractured his skull and died instantly.
