MOTHER OF FOUR CHILDREN DIED OF PNEUMONIA
Mrs. Moravek of Bettendorf Succumbs Saturday at Age of 30 Years.

Mrs. Thelma Moravek, 30, wife of Aloysius Moravek, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the family home, 1519 Mississippi boulevard, Bettendorf. Pneumonia which she contracted 10 days ago resulted in her death.
Mrs. Moravek was born on Jan. 21, 1898 at Fort Wayne, Ind. She came to Davenport 14 years ago and was married to Mr. Moravek on Feb. 28, 1917 in St. Mary's church. After their marriage the couple moved to Bettendorf where they have resided for the last eight years.
Surviving besides the widower are three sons, Donald, Bernard and Richard; one daughter, Elizabeth, all at home; two brothers, W.E. Byers, Davenport; and P.L. Byers of Oakland, Calif., and three sisters, Mrs. L.T. Naugle, Davenport; Mrs. Allen McGrath, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Harry Waiters of Blaine, Wash.
The body was removed in the Fred N. Ruhl funeral home and will be returned to the late home this afternoon. On Monday afternoon the body will be removed to Our Lady of Lourdes church where it will remain and services will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning with the Rev. T.P. Coleman officiating. Burial will be made in Holy Family cemetery.
