Timm Eckman, one of the pioneer residents of Scott County, died Sunday morning at his home, 1008 West Third Street, following a sudden severe attack of stomach trouble. Mr. Eckmann was widely known throughout Scott County and his many friends are grieved to learn of his demise. He was born in Halle, near Rensburg, Germany, Jan 20, 1829.
