Services were April 15 in Davenport, for Mrs. Joseph Gordy, 49, of 1547 W. 4th St., Davenport, who died April 13 in Mercy hospital after a 9-month illness. Burial was in Davenport Memorial park.

Hilda Beeth, a native of Wheatland, married Mr. Gordy April 29, 1944, in Davenport.

Surviving are her husband; 2 sons, James Nelson and Jerry Lee, both at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beeth, Durant; a sister, Mrs. John Hinrich, Durant; and 3 brothers, Ernest Beeth, Durant; Hans Beeth, Wilton Junction, and Walter Beeth, Davenport. Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
