Grand Mound, Ia., Jan 3--The following obituary of the mother of Wm. Hasenmiller of this place is taken from another paper:

Mrs. Joseph S. Hasenmiller passed away Wednesday evening at 9:05, at the home of her son, Dr. F. H. Hasenmiller, 1802 1/2 Division street, following a long illness. Mrs. Dorothy Hasenmiller was born September 18, 1845, in Germany and was aged 71 years at the time of her death. She came to America in 1853 and came direct to Scott county, where her parents settled on a farm. She was married October 5, 1870, to Joseph S. Hasenmiller. Eight children were born, five of whom are still living. They are William of Grand Mound, Joseph and Fred of Davenport, John of LeClaire and Mrs. E. Quinn of Eldridge. There is also one sister, Mrs. William Schcendelen, of Davenport and ten grandchildren.

The funeral was held Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock with services at Holy Family church. The many friends of the family extend sincere sympathy.
