Mrs. Marguerite Christensen of Davenport, mother of Emil J. Christensen, pressman of the ADVERTISER, passed away at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at her home on Locust street, after a long illness.

Mrs. Christensen was about 62 years of age, and was born in Germany. She was an old resident of Davenport, having made her home there since she was 24 years of age, and was well known and highly respected in that city. Besides her son one daughter also survives her.

The funeral will be held Friday from her late home, with interment in Pine Hill cemetery.
