B. Reichenbacher, 84, Former Baker, Groceryman, Dies

Benhart Reichenbacher, 84, 701 Clarke street, resident of Davenport since 1882 who retired from the bakery and grocery store business 10 years ago, died in his home at 1:40 p.m. Saturday after an illness of seven months.
Born in New Jersey in 1853, he received his education there, coming to Blue Grass in Scott county in 1872 and moving to Davenport in 1882. He was of Lutheran faith.
Surviving are a sister, Carrie Reichenbacher, Davenport; a brother, Henry Reichenbacher, Des Moines, and several nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to the Runge mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
