Mrs. Louis Hoffbauer, 81, died early Wednesday morning at her home 209 So. Commercial Ave.
She had been in poor health for many years.
Funeral services will be this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Kastler Funeral home, with Dr. Thos. Hoover, pastor of the Congregational church officiating.
Burial will be Friday, in Blue Grass cemetery near Davenport.
Mrs. Hoffbauer is survived by her husband and nieces and nephews.

MRS. LOUIS HOFFBAUER
Mrs. Louis Hoffbauer, 81, of Eagle Grove, a former resident of Blue Grass and Buffalo, died Wednesday morning in her home, after an extended illness.
Born near Blue Grass, the former Ella Meyhaus was married to Mr. Hoffbauer in Davenport in 1903. The couple resided in Buffalo following their marriage until 1913, when they moved to Eagle Grove.
She is survived by her husband; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Runge Chapel. Burial will be in the Blue Grass Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Friday.
