Note: In all her siblings and parents obituaries she is referred to as Pearl so I am assuming she went by her middle name Pearl. Her mother's maiden name is McGinnis. She was born in 1900.

Margaret Rice

Services for Margaret P. Rice, 76, of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is after 3 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Memorial may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church; Davenport.

Mrs. Rice died Thursday at her home.

She had been employed as a dietician at the Mitchelville Training Center, retiring in 1963.

Margaret Mockler was born in Botna, Iowa. She married Maurice E. Rice in 1919 in LeMars, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Juanita) Sullivan, Davenport; sons, Walter R. Minneapolis, Minn.; and Dale, Chicago; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a brother, James Mockler, Antioch, Calif.
