Gladys Mildred Christensen, 74, of Huntington, W. Va., formerly of the Quad Cities, died Saturday in West Virginia after an extended illness.

Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Esterdahl Chapel. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Visitation is 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday.

Mrs. Christensen was employed as an office bookkeeper, retiring in 1970. Gladys Nelson married Alfred Christensen in 1925 in Davenport. He died in 1960.

She was a member of YWCA, American Association of Retired Persons and Christ the King Lutheran church, all of Virginia.

Survivors include a son, Milton H., Huntington.
