Hannes Strueben of Walcott, passed away at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, at the Davenport hospital, following a stroke of paralysis suffered ten days previous.

He was born in Germany, November 13, 1880 [sic], coming to this country with his parents when a year and a half old. He was married August 1, 1908, in this city. The survivors are the wife and three children. The father, Claus Strueben, one brother, Claus Strueben Jr., and two married sisters, Mrs. Norman Leabo and Mrs. Charles Nielsen of Walcott, also survive.
