At the family home, Ninth and LeClaire street, yesterday morning, occurred the death of Minnie S. Spier, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Spier. She was born at Streator, Ill., on July 11, 1889, and attended the parochial schools at Peoria, where a great part of her youth was spent. Her parents moved to this city in 1898. She attended the Sacred Heart school and at the time of her death was a member of the first-year class in the academic course of the Immaculate Conception academy. Heart disease and a complication of other diseases was the cause of her death. She is survived by her parents, two sisters, Misses Bessie and Ruth, and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Scott, uncle and aunt. The funeral servics will be held from the Sacred Heart cathedral Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made at St. Marguerite's cemetery.
