Balcke.
Rev. H. Balcke died Sunday, May 4, 1902, at 11 o'clock p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emma Busch, in this city, at the age of 88 years.
He was born in Prussia, Germany; came to this country in 1859; was a German M.E. minister in active service for 22 years, and has been retired for the past 15 years.
He leaves a wife, Maria Balcke, and two daughters, Mrs. Emma Busch and Miss Anna Balcke and one sister, Miss Hermine Balcke, and other relatives.
The funeral will be held from the residence of Mrs. Emma Busch at No. 2340 Eddy street, on Wednesday, May 7, at 2 p.m.
