Services for Paul R. Castillo, 73, of 1597 Cherry Hills Road, Bettendorf, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.

Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. today at McGinnis Funeral Home, where the Third Secular Order of St. Francis will conduct a liturgy service at 6:30 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Castillo died Wednesday (November 2, 1983) at Moline Lutheran Hospital.

He retired in 1974 as a crane operator for Davenport Works of Alcoa, whre he had been employed 15 years. Before that, he had been employed 11 years by the Rock Island Railroad and the Engine Shop.

Mr. Castillo married Petra Reyes in 1942 in Lebanon, Pa.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was a member of Davenport Knights of Columbus, East Moline Veterans of Foreign Wars, G.I. Forum and Third Secular Order of St. Francis.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mrs. Walter (Therese) Leahy, Geneseo, Ill.; Mrs. Philip (Carmen) Mayer, Thornton, Colo.; Mrs. Randy (Dolores) Richards, Rock Island; and Mrs. Thomas (Rebecca) Owen, Wheaton, Ill.; sons, Paul, Denver, and Robert, Houston; 15 grandchildren; and a brother, Lucas, Montpelier, Iowa.
