Marcia Van Scoy, 70, of Chandler, Arizona, died unexpectedly Feb. 23, 2017. A memorial service honoring her life will be March 26, at Escalante Senior Center, Tempe Arizona. Marcia was born in Davenport, Iowa, to Jeanne and Roderic Van Scoy. After graduating from Davenport High Scool in 1965, she received a BA in education from Drake University and an MS in education from Arizona State University. For more than 38 years she was an educator at Phoenix and Tempe. She is survived by her sisters, Nancy, Susan and Joanne and brother, Roderic.
