Mrs. Virginia May Miller, passed away at the Davenport Osteopathic hospital following childbirth on Thursday, March 15th, 1956. At the time of her untimely passing she had reached the age of 41 years, 3 months and 3 days.

Mrs. Virginia May Miller was born in Portland, Oregon, December 12, 1914 to Emma and the late George Rehling. She moved to Davenport at the age of three, and lived there until her marriage to Clarence F. Miller, on August 7th, 1954, in the Little Brown Church at Nashua, Iowa.

She received her education in Davenport, and worked for the County Attorney's office before her marriage. She was of Lutheran faith.

Surviving are the husband; two sons of a former marriage, Gordon L. and Robert W. Rankin; one daughter, Judith Ann Miller; her mother; and one sister, Mrs. Harold Egger, of Davenport.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, March 19, 1956 at 1:30 o'clock, at Runge Chapel in Davenport, Iowa.

Burial was made in Fairmount Cemetery in Davenport, Iowa.
