March 18, 1913Mrs. Emma Hoffbauer, aged 67 years died at 10:40 o'clock last evening at the family home in Buffalo after a brief illness of 11 days duration.
Deceased was born Aug 28, 1845, on Switzerland, and came to this country in 1849 direct to Buffalo, where she resided ever since. She was married March 22, 1888, in Buffalo. She was a member of the Buffalo chapter of the Pythian Sisters, and also a member of the German-American Pioneer Settlers' association.
The survivors are the husband, Hugo Hoffbauer, one daughter, Mrs. A.G. Bullock pf Basin, Mont.; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Ostron of Greenville, Ill., and Mrs. Charles Strohmeier, Sr., of Sac City, Iowa. She is also survived by one brother, Samuel Krebbs of Okawville, Ill. besides several nephews and nieces.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the home with interment in Rose Hill cemetery in Buffalo.
