Old Fisherman is Found Dead at Cook's Point

Ernest Buergel, 67 years old a fisherman living at Cook's Point, was found dead at 1:45 p.m. today by a friend who called to plan a fishing jaunt for Saturday. Buergel had died some time during the night according to coroner J. D. Cantwell who pronounced a sudden attack of heart disease the cause.

Near neighbors who had noticed no sign of life about the place this morning thought little of the matter believing that the fisherman had been out early and returned to sleep away part of the morning.

As noon passed, however, friends were preparing to investigate when a companion of Buergel's stopped at the door and knocking received no reply.

Together they forced open the door and found the fisherman dead in his bunk. They summoned police who called the coroner.
