Davenport relatives have received word of the sudden death at Kansas City of Robert Johnson, a former resident of this city. Mr. Johnson was 75 years of age and came to Davenport in 1847. For many years he was a farmer, living near Walcott, and then he moved to Davenport and entered the commission business. He followed that business until about 18 years ago, when he moved to Kansas City and entered the real estate business. Many Davenport people will still remember him and grieve to hear of his sudden death, which occurred Thursday. His wife survives. The funeral will be held in Kansas City this afternoon.
