JOHN T. MOHR OF ELDRIDGE ANSWERS CALL

Dies Sunday Morning at Family Home After Lingering Illness.

John T. Mohr, 40, passed away at his home, two miles east of Eldridge at 11 o'clock Sunday morning. He had been ailing for some time.

Mr. Mohr was born in Davenport township April 22, 1887 and has been a life resident of Scott county. He was united in marriage to Miss Martha Lensch Feb. 22, 1922 at Davenport. Following their marriage they settled on a farm near Eldridge where they have since resided.

Surviving besides the widow are one daughter, Elaine; one son Wendall; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Mohr, Davenport; one brother Ralph, Eldridge; and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Stoletenberg, Walcott Ia., and Mrs. Edwin Rock of Eldridge.

The body was removed to the RUnge mortuarty and will be returned to the late home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in Pine Hill cemetery.

LAST RITES HELD FOR JOHN P. MOHR WEDNESDAY AT HOME

Funeral services for John Peter Mohr were held at at 2 o'clock Wenesday at the late home one mile east of Eldridge. The Rev. M.A. Getzendaner officiated at the the services at the home and at the grave in Pine Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Elsie Nielsen and Miss Mayme W?? sang "Abide with Me" and "Rock of Ages."

The pallbearers were Paul Lessen, Emil Lynch, Ray Lynch, Ralph Mohr, Edwin Rock, and Harry Stoltenberg.
