Kurtz.

The death of Fritz Kurtz, aged 80 years, occurred yesterday morning at his home in this city. He was born in Mecklenburg, and has resided in Davenport for the past 40 years. He was a member of the volunteer fire department for 18 years. Charles Prinz of Prinz & Laramore, is his stepson. The funeral announcement will be made later.

THE FUNERAL OF FRITZ KURTZ

It Will Be Held Today With Incineration At the Davenport Crematorium.

The funeral of Fritz Kurtz will be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon from 508 West Third street, with incineration at the crematorium. The exercises will be in charge of the Veteran Fireman, the deceased having been a member of the old Pioneer Hook & Ladder company. For 18 years he was custodian of the hook and ladder hour. All volunteer fireman are urged to show respect to the veteran who has passed away by attending his funeral.
