John Corkin, 65 years old, for a number of years a fireman at the J.H.C. Petersen's Sons department store, died at 2:30 p.m. today at the Scott County home.

Before going to the home he had lived at the Harrison hotel, 105 1/2 Main street. The body was removed to the Hill & Fredericks mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
