Obituary

Lockwood.

Clifford Lockwood, 20, 709 Marquette street, died at 9:30 a.m. today at Mercy Hospital following an operation for appendicitis. He was a shipping clerk at the Firestone Tire Co.

Mr. Lockwood was born in Macoma, Ia.; March 4, 1908. He came to Davenport in 1913 and received his education in the local schools.

Surviving are his father, C.D. Lockwood, Mt. Vernon, Ia.; his mother, Mrs. Alvin Anderson, Chicago; a brother, James Anderson, Chicago; the grandmother Mrs. Emil Pavlic, West Union, Ia; and an aunt, Mrs. George Ede with whom he made his home.

The body was removed to the Runge mortuary. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
