Charles Moul Dies Suddenly of Pneumonia

Was Janitor and Lived at Cook Memorial Building at 530 Brady Street.

Charles Mohr, 58, janitor at the Cook Memorial building, 530 Brady street, was found dying at 8:15 this morning by men working in the building. He died before a physician arrived. Coroner J.D. Cantwell pronounced the cause of death bronchial pneumonia and an abscessed lung.

Mr. Mohr had been complaining for the last few days of pains in his chest but had continued with his work and had started the fire and completed his other duties about the building this morning. He laid down on the bed and at 8:15 a.m. J.E. Novak 816 East Sixth street, heard his name being frantically called. On investigation he found Mohr in his room on the ground floor on his death bed. An effort was made to locate a physician for the man who at the time was seen to be in great suffering. He died a few minutes later.

The deceased was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ella Wright, Chicago and 2 nephews at Ottumwa, Ia.,

The body was removed to the Stapleton mortuary. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
