BENJAMIN YOUNGERS

Benjamin Youngers, 82, 634 N. Cody St., LeClaire, a retired carpenter, died Monday in Veterans Hospital, Iowa City, after a year’s illness.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the McGinnis Chapel, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire. Visitation is today at the funeral home.

Mr. Youngers was a charter member of the American Legion Post 347, LeClaire, and a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his wife; a son, Edward, Le Claire, and two grandchildren.
