OBITUARY.

Frizzell.

At 9 o'clock Saturday evening at her home, 1804 Summit avenue occurred the death of one of Davenport's most valued teachers of the public schools. Miss Mary E. Frizzell. She will be especially missed at her room in School No. 1 where for a long time she has done efficient work. She was always cheerful and happy and even in the face of certain approaching death never wavered, but wsa true to her trust and cheerful as ever. The deceased has a large circle of friends who will with the family deeply regret her passing away. She was born in Ohio, but came to Davenport with her parents when but a mere child, 44 years ago, and has resided here almost continually since. She leaves beside a large number of friends her aged father and mother and her one brother, Will Frizzell, of the firm of Sears & Frizzell, to mourn her death.

The funeral will be held from the family residence, 1804 Summit avenue, at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The services will be conducted by Rev. F.W. Luce, of the First ME. church of which the deceased was a faithful and esteemed member. The interment will be made in Oakdale cemetery.
