Crowley.

The death of Maurice Crowley occurred yesterday afternoon at 3:20 at the home of his son, John, 1824 West Sixth street, after an illness lasting five weeks. The deceased was born in the City of Cork, Ireland, in October, 1832, and was, at the time of he passed away, nearly 69 years of age. He came to this country and to Davenport in 1860 and was a resident of this city ever since. He was well and favorably known as an industrious, sober man. He lived for over 30 years at his late residence, 1720 Marquette street, which he left only when his last illness came on and he was taken to the home of his son. Another son, Daniel, of Chicago, also survives.

The funeral will be held tomorrow morning with services at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church and interment in St. Marguerite's cemetery.
