MURPHY

Mrs. Winfred Murphy, one of Davenport's oldest residents died Saturday morning at 1 o'clock. Deceased was 67 years of age at the time of her death. She was born in Ireland but came to America 50 years ago and has resided in this city 30 years. She had consequently a wide acquaintance and a large circle of friends, all of whom mourn her loss. She is survived by four daughters - Mrs. Mary Barnes of Wayne, Neb.; Mrs. Margaret McArthur of St. David, Ill.; Mrs. Mary Harrington of Chicago, and Mrs. G. W. Strong of this city. The funeral will be held from Sacred Heart cathedral. Interment at St. Marguerite's cemetery.
