Mrs. Ellen L. Glynn, widow of the late Patrick J. Glynn, died Saturday at 2 p.m. at her home, 1001 Harrison street. She had been ill for some time.
She was born in Albany, New York, Christmas day, 1881, and came to Scott county while a young girl with her parents. The family settled on a farm near Long Grove where the deceased lived until 1908. She was educated at the Immaculate Conception academy in Davenport.
Surviving are: three sons, Mack and Thomas of Moline and Roy of Los Angeles, Calif; and one daughter, Loretta Glynn living at home.
Mrs. Glynn was a devout Catholic and active member of St. Anthony's church during her residence in this city.
Services will be held from the family home Monday at 8:30 a.m. to St. Anthony's church at 9 a.m. Interment will be in St. Marguerite's cemetery.
