DEYER.

John Deyer yesterday morning died at his family residence at 524 East Tenth street. The deceased had been sick since last September at which time he contracted a severe cold that settled on his lungs and eventually caused death.

He was born in Tipperary, Ireland, in 1833 and came to Davenport thirty-five years ago and has been a resident of this city since. He leaves a wife and six children, one of which is an adopted daughter.

The funeral will be held from the cathedral of the Sacred Heart Monday morning at 9 o'clock and interment will be made in St. Marguerite's cemetery.
