OBITUARY

O'BRIEN, Martin. A letter received today announced the death of Martin O'Brien at Chicago. Mr. O'Brien was for years a resident of this city, but lately has made his home in Chicago. The remains will arrive in Davenport tomorrow morning at 7:10 and will be taken to Halligan's undertaking rooms. The funeral will be held from St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning, and the body interred in St. Mary's cemetery.

OBITUARY

O'BRIEN, Martin. The funeral of Martin O'Brien was held this morning at St. Mary's church, and the body was laid to rest in St. Mary's cemetery.

The body of Martin D. O'Brien, who died in Chicago Saturday evening, arrived here this morning at 1:48 a.m. via the C.R.I. & P. railway. Accompanying the body were his daughter, Mrs. John Heaton, nee Agnes A. O'Brien and niece, Lillian Metzger, daughter of Mrs. Charles Metzger, nee Margaret O'Brien. Services were held at St. Mary's church at 9 a.m. the Rev. Henry Knebel officiating at the requiem mass and absolution ceremony. The pallbearers were Daniel McGrath, Dennis Ryan, Daniel Flanigan, Patrick Dixon, Patrick Hassett and Joseph Gimbel, Sr.
