The death of John O'Dea occurred at Mercy Hospital Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The deceased was born in Ireland 44 years ago, but for the past 43 years has been a resident of this city. The parents of the deceased are both dead, the mother having died but a week ago Saturday.

The funeral will be held Monday morning from the residence of James and George O'Dea, 1333 Prairie street, cousins of the deceased. Services will be held at the Holy Family church at 9 o'clock. The interment will be at St. Mary's cemetery.
