OBITUARY
CARROLL.

At Clinton on Sunday occurred the death of Charles Carroll, father of A.W.Carroll of this city. The Clinton Herald in announcing the death says:

At 9:20 Sunday morning Charles Carroll, after a brief illness was called away. Last Thursday he took a severe cold, which resulted in congestion of the lungs. Mr. Carroll was one of the well known men of the city and county. He lived in Clinton for 40 years. Mr. Carroll was 63 years old. He leaves a wife and seven children. They are A.W., Davenport; Mrs. Mary Molyneaux, Long Grove; Hugh H., James, Charles, Sadie and Addie of Clinton. He also leaves a brother and sister here, James Carroll and Mrs. A. Walsh. The funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning and the interment will be held at St. Mary's cemetery.
