OBITUARY.

GOULD.

At the family residence, 431 East Locust street, Sunday morning, occurred the death of Mrs. Betsey Gould, an old and highly respected resident of this city at the age of 83 years. The deceased was born in Whitingham, Vt., but later moved to Massachusetts from which state she came with her husband to this city in 1854. Mr. Gould died in 1856, but she remained in this city until her death. She was an active member of the Calvary Baptist church and has made a large number of friends who will regret to learn of her death. Three sons, R.S. and G.A. of this city, and J.C., of Gilman, Ia., survive her.

The funeral will be held from the late residence this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with interment in Oakdale cemetery.
