OBITUARY.

DIXON.

The death of Mrs. Priscilla Dixon occurred at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J.H. Davis, 1931 Farnam street, Wednesday morning at 1 o'clock. The deceased was born in Jefferson county in 1814, and came to Scott county with her husband, Sanford Dixon 48 years ago. She lived on a farm in Pleasant Valley until 1884, moving then to Davenport, living here until her death. The husband and four children survive, a daughter, Mrs. Clista Davis, and three sons, Zachariah, Of Davenport, Joseph of Dixon, Ia, and William of Walnut, Ia. The funeral takes place at 10 o'clock this morning from the Davis residence, with interment at the Pleasant Valley cemetery.
