OBITUARY.

ESSEX.

At 8 p.m. Monday occurred the death of Mrs. J.W. Essex, at the residence of her son, Oliver Shell, 2710 north Brady street. Mrs. Essex came to Davenport November 1, 1894, from her home in O'Neil, Nebraska, for medical treatment at Mercy hospital, where she remained until about a fortnight ago, since then residing at her son's home. She leaves to mourn her loss at O'Neil, Neb, her husband, J.W. Essex, and children. Wesley and Mamie Essex, and Wm. E. Shell, of Deadwood, Dakota, and Oliver Shell of this city. The funeral notice will appear later.
