OBITUARY.

ROTHERMEL.

The funeral of the late John Rothermel will be held tomorrow at 5 p.m., from the house, 1507 Harrison street. Damone Lodge No. 10, K. of P., will conduct the ceremonies.

The death of Mr. Rothermel was a sad shock to the many who knew him. He had a host of friends, the sum of his acquaintances. He was a native of Hesse Darmstadt, and he came to American in 1860. Six years ago he took up residence in Davenport. He was unassuming and industrious, and was one of Davenport's best citizens. He leaves a wife and four children, Frank, Kate, John and Frances. Mr. Rothermel was 51 years old at the time of his sudden death.
