OBITUARY.

PARSONS.

Walter S. Parsons, who has been well-known in Davenport and vicinity for years, died shortly after 1 o'clock this morning from heart failure. In former years Mr. Parsons was a prominent merchant in Rock Island, but met with reverses and has recently been with J.H.C. Peterson's Sons and the Klug, Hasler, Schwentzer company. He leaves a wife and two children, a son who lives in Minneapolis and a daughter who resides here.
