OBITUARY.

CHENEY.

Mrs. Sarah Jane Cheney, widow of Rufus Cheney, died at her home in Pleasant Valley, Sunday morning at 4 o'clock. She was 71 years of age, and her death was due to a stroke of apoplexy which she suffered Thursday evening. She was one of the pioneers of Scott county having been a resident of it since 1852. The funeral will take place today with interment at Oakdale.
