OBITUARY.

HEUER.

Last evening at 6:30 o'clock occurred the sudden death from heart disease of Carl Heuer at his home 621 west Second street. Mr. Heuer was born in Mecklenburg, Germany and had reached the age of 69 years, 9 months and 23 days. He was a resident of Iowa for the past 39 years and was a tailor, although for years past he did not work at his trade. He leaves a wife to mourn his loss. A brother of the deceased died six years ago today in just the same way.

Coroner McCortney who called to investigate the cause of Carl Heuer's death decided that an inquest was not necessary, as the cause of death was evidently fatty degeneration of the heart. The funeral will take place Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
