Obituary.

McCARTHY.

At the home of Robert J Donnelly 706 Myrtle street this morning at 3 o'clock occurred the death of William McCarthy in the 89th year of his life. Death was due to old age. The deceased was never married and was born in Ireland in 1807 and has been a resident of Davenport for 41 years, coming here in 1856. One sister, Catherine, survives him. The funeral will take place from the late residence Monday morning at 9 o'clock with funeral services at St. Mary's church. Interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.
