Obituary

CAVENDISH.

News was received yesterday of the sudden death at Delta of Capt. J.G. Cavendish of Malcom. Capt. Cavendish was for years a resident of Davenport and well known in Scott county. During the war he was a member of the Twentieth Iowa. Capt. Cavendish was a preacher in the Methodist church and much respected in religious circles. The funeral will be at Malcomb today.
