Obituary

Engelbrecht.

Joseph Engelbrecht died at his home, two and one-half miles southwest of Eldridge, on Thursday evening at 7 o'clock after a lingering Illness.

He was born near Walcott, Iowa, Nov. 2, 1850, and married Miss Louisa Witherslack on Jan. 2, 1903. She, with the following sisters and brothers, survives him: Mrs. Cecelia Kruse, Mrs. Selma Happhan, and Johann, Henry, Herman, and Louis Engelbrecht.

Funeral services will be held from the home Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, and interment will be in Fairmount cemetery.

The Engelbrecht Funeral.

The funeral of Joseph Engelbrecht was held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home, two and one half miles southwest of Eldridge. Johannes Kroeger spoke at the home and grave in Fairmount cemetery.

Pallbearers were Henry, Herman and Louis Engelbrecht, William Happhan, Henry Cabel and Henry Larson.
