Wachter Funeral

The funeral of Casper Wachter was held at 8:30 o'clock this morning from the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. Schebler, 1325 West Eighth street, Davenport, with services following at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's church. Rev. Anthony Schoeningh celebrated a requiem high mass, pronounced the burial absolution, preached the funeral sermon and officiated at the grave in Holy Family cemetery. A number of out-of-town guests and friends attended the services.

The pallbearers were the following grandchildren, Philip, Julius, Paul and George Freund, Aloysius and Edwin Schebler.
