IDENTIFICATION OF J.P. QUINN IS MADE BY WIFE

Had Disappeared from His Home Over Five Weeks Ago.

Mrs John P. Quinn, 810 Denison Avenue, today identified the body of the man found in the river Saturday evening as that of her husband. Mr. Quinn disappeared from his home about 5 weeks ago. Nothing was heard from him for several days and the police were asked to locate him. They were unable to find any trace of him, however, and it was not until the finding of the body, Saturday evening that any trace of him was obtained.

Quinn was employed by the McCarthy Improvement Company employed on a road job in Scott County. Several days before he disappeared he suffered a sunstroke. He was unable to go to work for the time, staying about the house. The third day he started from his home saying that he intended to return to work. That was the last time he had been seen alive by his wife. Funeral services will be held from the O'Malley Funeral Parlors in Rock Island at 9O'Clock tomorrow morning. Burial will take place in St. Marguerite's Cemetery.
