MRS. ELMER HERBERT

Mrs. Elmer Herbert, 71, of 2120 7th Ave., East Moline, died this morning in Moline Lutheran Hospital after an extended illness. The former Orcelia Grant was born in Marseilles, and was married to Mr. Herbert in 1915 in Moline. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, mrs. Robert L. Miller, Mrs. Forrest E. Schave, both of East Moline, and Mrs. Marwood Chalus, Utica; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Clinton C., Moline; and two sisters, Mrs. William Wettengel, Serena, and Mrs. Stephen White, Chicago. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church, East Moline, with burial to be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Thursday in the VanHoe Funeral Home.
