MRS. ARTHUR STOIT

Mrs. Arthur Stoit, 70, of 1110 40th St., Rock Island, died Sunday evening at Moline Lutheran Hospital after an extended illness. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island, and burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The former Sarah Atkinson was born in Rock Island and was married to Mr. Stoit in 1916, in Rock Island. Surviving are her husband; a son Arthur W. Jr., Rock Island; a daughter, Mrs. L.H. Ehrisman, Annheim, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Schluenz, Davenport, and Mrs. Lily Berry, Hamilton, Ill.; five grandchildren, ad two great-grandchildren.
